Chip Cookies Holding Grand Opening Celebration Saturday

We recently wrote about the many businesses that have opened in the North Shore area. Well, you can add one more to that list, as Chip Cookies is set to hold a grand opening celebration on Saturday, March 30 from 5-10 p.m.

According to a Facebook event page, they'll be giving away free cookies to all guests who download their app, and will even be giving away a year of free cookies to the first ten households in line!

I attended the grand opening for Beard Papa's, another dessert-focused bakery, and there were people waiting in line for over an hour just to buy some cream puffs. So given the prospect of free cookies for a year, I wouldn't be surprised to see folks camping out all day long on Saturday. For their sake, I hope it doesn't rain too much tomorrow...
